The 24 December capture was taken before 4pm, so it records the announced start, not an on-time launch. The 25 December capture is the first one that shows the sale live. “At least 50% off” is Next’s own claim about items in the sale. It does not show how many products were in the sale, or whether a sale price was lower than an earlier promotion.

What sold at Boxing Day prices in 2025

Direct Next captures on 26 December 2025 recorded a Reiss open-collar shirt at £68 from £120 and a TALA DayFlex bandeau bra at £21 from £42. Next’s own price history dates the Reiss reduction to December. The TALA price began in September, so it is a sale price observed on Boxing Day rather than a fresh post-Christmas markdown.

Both are third-party brands sold by Next. They are two product records, not a sample of the whole sale.

Is Next open on Boxing Day?

In 2025, Next advertised its in-store sale from 6am on Saturday 27 December, not on Boxing Day. Next had 458 mainline stores in the UK and Eire in January 2026, according to its year-end results. The same terms say next-day delivery is unavailable for VIP orders. In-stock items can take up to 28 days, with an estimate given at order. Delivery to selected stores is available.
