Asda Boxing Day Sale 2026

George at Asda advertised “up to 50% off” on 19 December 2025 and again in January. Asda had not announced a 2026 sale when this page was updated on 15 October 2026. The sale covered selected George clothing and home lines, in store and online; supermarket groceries follow their own pricing.

“Up to 50%” is George’s own headline for selected lines. It does not show how many products were reduced or how deep a typical reduction was. “Now included” on 19 December means the sale had started before that capture, but the start date was not recorded. None of these captures used Boxing Day wording. They show the same headline before and after Christmas, but no capture between 19 December and 1 January was retained, so they do not prove the sale ran without a break.

Browse Asda and George for current listings. A live listing needs its own price, size and delivery check; the 2025 headline does not certify a 2026 deal.

Is there a George January sale?

The George sale headline carried into January 2026. Captures on 1 January and 10 January both read “Up to 50% off clothing and home”, with “Available in-store & online. Selected lines. Subject to availability.” The end date was not recorded, and a January 2027 sale has not been announced.

If you buy George clothing in January, the 100-day guarantee conditions described below still apply. Compare the size and price of the item you want; the headline does not show how deep a typical reduction was.

Is Asda open on Boxing Day?

Hours depend on the store. The Westbrook branch in Warrington listed 09:00–18:00 for 26 December 2025, but that is one branch example, not a national rule. If you want George clothing, check that your branch stocks it. Use the Boxing Day dates guide and check your branch’s current hours before travelling.

Compare clothing and home products carefully

For clothing, check size, material and the cost of the complete order. For bedding, confirm dimensions and exactly which pieces are included. For an electrical product, use its full model code and seller details. This guide has no evidence that one George category consistently has the deepest discounts or that common sizes sell out by a particular time.

George’s 100-day guarantee, checked on 27 September 2026, applies to George-branded clothing and home products under its conditions, with proof of purchase. It excludes watches, jewellery, hair accessories, indoor and outdoor furniture and mattresses. Its stated store scope is UK mainland stores, excluding franchises.

Those exclusions do not mean an item has no ordinary return rights. Confirm the UK return route for your product and seller before buying; do not apply international delivery or return terms to a UK order. A furniture purchase needs its own delivery, collection and returns check.

Keep Rewards channels separate

Asda Rewards terms, checked on 27 September 2026, exclude George.com from the online grocery Rewards route. They also include terms for eligible in-store George missions. Check the offer in your app for its channel, qualifying items and dates rather than assuming every George purchase earns the same benefit.

For groceries, compare the actual shelf price and pack size for items you need. No particular festive food reduction, opening-time stock level or discount percentage has been verified for Boxing Day 2026. Do not make a special trip based on an assumed clearance selection.
