All eight listed the same hours, but this is a sample, not a national rule. No Morrisons press release on Christmas or Boxing Day 2025 store hours was found. The sample does not include stores in Scotland or Wales, or Morrisons Daily convenience shops. A 14 December 2025 copy of a Newcastle store page did not yet show Christmas hours, so check close to the day.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2025

All eight store pages listed Christmas Day as closed. On Christmas Eve, the store pages checked listed 6am to 6pm; Wimbledon listed 6am to 7pm.

Is there a Morrisons Boxing Day sale?

No sale was advertised on the Morrisons website around Boxing Day 2025. Archived homepages from 21 December, 27 December and 1 January 2026 showed grocery offers but no Boxing Day event. The Nutmeg clothing page on 15 December said “Shop in store”, and no later copy before January 2026 was found. So in-store clothing reductions after Christmas were not recorded either way.

For a Boxing Day shopping trip, compare the supermarkets’ published hours with the retailers you plan to visit. The Boxing Day opening hours guide compares the Boxing Day hours this site has verified, retailer by retailer. The Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Aldi and Lidl pages cover the other large supermarkets.

Christmas 2026 delivery and collection

Morrisons has announced Christmas 2026 delivery and Click & Collect slots. Its press release of 6 October 2026 says festive slots run from Friday 18 December to Thursday 31 December 2026. It does not say whether slots run on Christmas Day or Boxing Day, and it gives no store opening hours. Book through Morrisons online groceries.
