So 12 of the 14 listed Boxing Day hours, all starting at 9am. The Extra and Superstore pages listed 9am to 6pm, except Bedworth Extra and Bangor Superstore in County Down, which were listed closed. The four Express pages listed 9am to 7pm. All 14 listed Christmas Day as closed. No 2026 Boxing Day hours were listed on the live Doncaster Extra store page when checked on 22 October 2026, and no national Tesco statement was found. Two of the pages above were archived before 12 December, so their hours could have changed later.

Confirm the branch and service

The Tesco store locator lets you find a branch and filter for services such as F&F shopping and Click+Collect. Check the exact location’s holiday hours and facilities before travelling. A supermarket’s opening does not automatically establish that every concession or collection service operates at the same time.

Use the Boxing Day dates guide for the calendar. Normal opening times and earlier years do not confirm a 2026 morning start. For groceries, compare the actual item and pack size; no clearance percentage or sell-out deadline is established here.

Use Clubcard Prices under the relevant offer

Tesco’s Clubcard Prices help, checked on 27 September 2026, requires a Clubcard and says to scan the app at the in-store checkout. It describes automatic online Clubcard Prices when the account was registered with Clubcard. Membership requires age 18 or over.

Check that the offer applies to the item, channel and date of your purchase. Compare the amount you would actually pay, including any delivery cost, rather than the difference from a reference price. A Clubcard label does not establish the cheapest price across retailers.

Distinguish Marketplace from a store purchase

Tesco’s current general-merchandise service includes Marketplace. Its collection guidance, checked on 27 September 2026, says Marketplace orders cannot be collected from a Tesco store or directly from the seller. Check the seller and delivery terms on the listing; supermarket collection arrangements do not transfer to these orders.

The Marketplace return promise, updated 11 June 2026 and checked on 27 September, normally requires contacting the seller within 30 days for a change-of-mind return. Items must meet its condition requirements, and product exclusions apply. Start the return through My orders and follow the seller’s instructions.

For F&F or another store purchase, check that channel’s policy instead. Record the seller, model or size, price and fulfilment details before comparing it with another retailer. This guide does not establish that Tesco is either the best or worst place for an entire product category.
