Dunelm Boxing Day Sale 2026

Dunelm’s 2025 sale was live online by Christmas Eve, at up to 50% off home furnishings, and its banner said it ran until 18 January. Its homepage showed no sale at 18:01 on 23 December and “SALE UP TO 50% OFF” by 15:51 on 24 December. The returns catch for Boxing Day buyers

Dunelm’s 2025 Christmas returns extension let you return purchases made between 1 October and 24 December until 31 January 2026. It stopped on Christmas Eve. Anything bought in the sale from Boxing Day onwards had the standard 28 days.

The standard Dunelm returns policy needs the item unused, in its original condition with tags, and proof of purchase. Some products have stricter rules:

• Mattresses: once unwrapped, they cannot be returned unless faulty.
• Large furniture: items over 15kg or 120cm in any direction cannot go back to a store. Dunelm collects them from your home.
• Made-to-measure and made-to-order: these have separate exclusions.

Your rights for faulty goods are separate from these change-of-mind terms.

Is Dunelm open on Boxing Day?

This page has no checked record of Dunelm’s Boxing Day 2025 store hours. The only archived December store page found loads its hours by script, so the hours are not in the capture. Dunelm’s sale banner said the sale ran in store as well as online. Check your branch’s Christmas hours on Dunelm’s store finder before travelling.

Collection and delivery over Christmas

Dunelm’s Click & Collect guidance says the service is free and normally same-day. In 2025 the banner changed from “Free Same-Day” on 15 December to “Free Next-Day” on 23, 24 and 27 December, then went back to same-day. Orders are held for 7 days.

Standard delivery cost £3.95, or nothing over £60, but furniture and large items do not count towards that threshold. Furniture or large-item orders of £600 or more qualify for free two-person delivery; below that, Dunelm states a £12.95 charge. Made-to-order furniture takes 5 to 10 weeks. Dunelm’s delivery information lists the restrictions by product and postcode. Dunelm does not run a price-match scheme.

Compare homeware by specification

For bedding, match the size, fibre content and number of pieces. For curtains, note the width, drop, lining and heading type. For a sofa or wardrobe, measure the access route as well as the room. The Dunelm home guide and Dunelm furniture guide cover those checks.

Frequently asked questions

When does the Dunelm Boxing Day sale start? In 2025 Dunelm’s sale started before Boxing Day. Its homepage showed no sale at 18:01 on 23 December and “Sale up to 50% off” by 15:51 on 24 December. The banner said the sale ended on 18 January. Dunelm had not announced a 2026 date when this page was updated on 16 October 2026.

Is Dunelm open on Boxing Day? This page has no checked record of Dunelm’s Boxing Day 2025 store hours. Dunelm’s 2025 sale banner said the sale was in store, online and on Click & Collect, but it did not give store hours. Check your branch’s Christmas hours on Dunelm’s store finder before travelling.

How much is off in the Dunelm sale? Dunelm’s 2025 headline was “up to 50% off” home furnishings. That is Dunelm’s own maximum on selected products, not the reduction on every item.

Can I return items bought in the Dunelm Boxing Day sale? Yes, within Dunelm’s standard 28 days if the item is unused and in its original condition. In 2025 the extended Christmas returns period covered purchases from 1 October to 24 December only, so Boxing Day sale purchases did not get it. Large furniture goes back by home collection, and unwrapped mattresses cannot be returned unless faulty.

Is Dunelm Click & Collect same-day over Christmas? Not in 2025. Dunelm’s banner read “Free Same-Day” on 15 December but “Free Next-Day” on 23, 24 and 27 December, then went back to same-day. Check the collection date shown at checkout.
