Argos Boxing Day Sale 2026

Argos ran a winter sale across Boxing Day 2025, starting on 17 December. The retained 25 December 2025 homepage said the sale began on that date and ran through Christmas week into January. Argos had not announced a 2026 sale when this page was updated on 15 October 2026. Use the 2025 record below to plan, then check the order’s collection or delivery options before relying on a date.

The percentages are Argos’s own headline claims on “selected” lines. They do not show how many products were reduced, how deep a typical reduction was, or whether a price was lower than at Black Friday. Check the exact product’s price history before treating a “was” price as the normal price.

Use the Boxing Day dates guide for the calendar and browse the Argos sale for current listings. A live product listing needs its own price, seller and fulfilment check; the 2025 schedule does not certify a 2026 deal.

What the 2025 sale covered

Argos’s 2025 sale page grouped offers by department. Home and furniture carried the largest headline, at up to 50% on selected lines. A further 20% off selected furniture was available with the code DEAL20 at capture time. Toys and nursery, Silentnight beds and mattresses, health and beauty, and DIY tools and security each carried an “up to a third” headline. The page also promoted small appliances, gaming, computing and TVs without a stated percentage.

A direct Argos product capture from 30 December 2025 recorded the Vax Blade 4 Classic Pet & Car cordless vacuum at £129. The previous price was £259.99, and the archived product data labelled it half price. That is one product-level result from the post-Christmas event, not a prediction for the 2026 range.

Does Argos have a January sale?

In 2026, the winter sale that began on 17 December ran into January. On 6 January 2026, the Argos sale page still read “Save up to 50% on selected lines” and said new deals had been added. A 14 January capture showed the same headline and repeated that Sale-badge promotions ended on 15 January 2026. By 29 January, the headline had gone and the page pointed to clearance categories instead.

The 1 January 2026 homepage also promoted up to 50% on selected sports and fitness equipment and up to a third on selected toys and nursery. These are Argos’s own headlines for selected lines, not a measure of typical reductions. A January 2027 sale has not been announced.

Buying in January also changes the returns position. The 2025 Christmas extension covered purchases made by 25 December, so a January purchase followed the standard terms described below.

Is Argos open on Boxing Day?

Hours depend on the store. Argos had 201 standalone stores and 466 shops inside Sainsbury’s supermarkets at 28 February 2026, according to Sainsbury’s results. No national Argos timetable was found, but its store pages listed Boxing Day 2025 hours. These 10 pages, archived between 5 and 21 December 2025, cover all four nations and include three Argos shops inside Sainsbury’s:

Store	Friday 26 December 2025	Source
Marble Arch (Edgware Road)	9am – 6pm	Store page, captured 16 Dec 2025
Tottenham (Inside Sainsbury’s)	9am – 6pm	Store page, captured 21 Dec 2025
Torquay (Inside Sainsbury’s)	9am – 6pm	Store page, captured 15 Dec 2025
Kirkcaldy (Inside Sainsbury’s)	9am – 6pm	Store page, captured 10 Dec 2025
Glasgow Fort	9am – 6pm	Store page, captured 9 Dec 2025
Maesteg	9am – 6pm	Store page, captured 16 Dec 2025
Merthyr Tydfil Cyfarthfa Retail Park	9am – 6pm	Store page, captured 6 Dec 2025
Penrith	9am – 6pm	Store page, captured 15 Dec 2025
Hull Kingswood	9am – 6pm	Store page, captured 16 Dec 2025
Belfast Castle Court	10am – 6pm	Store page, captured 5 Dec 2025

Nine of the 10 listed 9am to 6pm; Belfast Castle Court listed 10am to 6pm. The three Argos shops inside Sainsbury’s sampled listed 9am to 6pm, the same as most standalone stores sampled. All 10 listed Christmas Day closed. Four of the pages were archived before 12 December, so their hours could have changed later. Argos had not announced 2026 Boxing Day hours when this page was checked on 22 October 2026; check the individual store’s hours in Argos’s store finder before travelling.

Compare the product and collection option

Toys and collection. Check the exact set or product code, order total and collection message. A toy in your basket is not reserved. For the process and timing evidence, see the Argos Boxing Day toy deals page.

For electricals, match the complete model code, capacity and accessory bundle. For furniture or a mattress, check dimensions, delivery access and the applicable return conditions. There is no verified category-wide discount range, cheapest-model list or post-Boxing-Day price-drop forecast here.

Place the order before travelling. Argos’s reservation help requires an order and payment; adding something to a basket does not reserve it. Eligible Click & Collect is free. It is distinct from paid same-day home delivery.

Wait for collection confirmation. Argos’s collection instructions use the ready-to-collect message and collection code. Availability for delivery does not establish availability at a particular branch or collection point.

Argos Christmas returns and the standard timetable

Argos’s terms, dated 13 August 2026 and checked on 27 September, allow 30 days from delivery or collection to request a change-of-mind return, followed by a further 30 days to return it. Product exclusions, condition requirements and any collection charge still apply; use the return instructions linked from those terms.

For Christmas 2025, Argos extended returns on purchases made from 26 September to 25 December 2025 until 31 January 2026. Boxing Day purchases fell outside that window and followed the standard terms. A 2026 extension has not been announced.

Check the actual seller too. The terms distinguish Argos purchases from Trusted Seller orders, so follow the return route for your order. Keep proof of purchase and the offer terms, particularly where a bundle or voucher affects the refund.
