The 6:14am capture shows the deals were live at that time; it does not show when they first appeared. The returns banner shows Currys extended Christmas returns in 2025, but the qualifying dates were not captured, so do not rely on a particular deadline. Check the Boxing Day dates guide for the wider calendar and the Currys sale link for current listings.

What the 2025 prices looked like

Direct Currys captures from 27–28 December 2025 recorded these prices. Each was a Currys-stated “was” price at the time, not proof of the usual market price.

Product	Boxing Day period price	Currys “was” price	Captured
ASUS Vivobook 16 OLED laptop (Core i9, 1 TB)	£599	£949	28 Dec 2025
Hisense E7Q 65-inch QLED TV	£499	£599	28 Dec 2025
JVC 40-inch Roku TV	£199	£249	27 Dec 2025
Samsung Q7F 75-inch TV	£949	£999	27 Dec 2025

The JVC and Samsung prices come from the captured TV sale listing, which preserved seven TVs in all. Across that listing, reductions ran from 5% to 29%, so the exact model matters more than the sale banner. On 26 December the homepage also promoted a trade-in of up to £200 on selected new Hisense TVs costing £449 or more, stated to run from 24 December 2025 to 3 February 2026.

What time does Currys open on Boxing Day?

In 2025, Currys’ homepage said stores would open from 9am on Boxing Day. Currys had 296 UK and Ireland stores at its 2025/26 interim results. Branch hours can differ, and 2026 hours are not established. Check your store’s page before travelling, and confirm that the exact model is on display if you want to see it first.

Understand the price promise before relying on it

The Currys price-promise conditions allow eligible matches before purchase or up to seven days afterwards. The product and terms must match, with stock ready for delivery at both sellers. Delivery and installation charges are excluded, as are marketplace sellers and specified restricted prices. Check all conditions before relying on a refund. Policy rechecked 27 September 2026.

This is not an automatic match of every competitor listing or protection against every future price change. Compare the delivered totals separately, even where the product price qualifies.

Delivery, collection and return conditions

Currys’ delivery and collection information lists standard small-item delivery in three to five working days, excluding bank holidays. The product and address determine the services and charges offered. Large-item delivery has separate options; a general next-day service is not a verified holiday arrival date.

For collection, confirm the selected branch and wait for the ready-to-collect notification before travelling. If you want to see a TV or try a laptop, establish that the exact model is available to view and check the store’s hours.

Under Currys’ change-of-mind returns guidance, online items can be returned within 30 days even if opened, but a full refund requires them to be unused, in original packaging, complete with accessories, free of personal data and not registered with the manufacturer. In-store purchases must be unopened under the published 30-day policy. Product and return-route exceptions apply; read the policy before using the item.

If considering optional protection, the Care & Repair terms dated 28 July 2026 exclude accidental damage. Compare the plan with existing cover and its cost; do not treat it as protection against accidentally damaging the product.

Does Currys have a January sale?

Yes, in 2026: Currys ran “New Year Epic Deals”. Its homepage on 6 January 2026 read “New Year Epic Deals now live! Most stores open 9am-8pm.” The same banner was still showing on 28 January. No homepage capture between 27 December and 6 January was retained, so the start date is not known.

The 28 January homepage advertised up to 25% off selected gaming gear “this week” and up to 15% off selected LG and Samsung TVs. These are Currys’ own headlines for selected products, not typical reductions. On 6 and 10 January, the homepage still mentioned extended Christmas returns, but the qualifying dates were not captured. A January 2027 sale has not been announced.

The 10 January capture replaced the sale banner with a warning about delivery and collection delays from Storm Goretti. Check the delivery date offered for your order before relying on it.

Compare the purchase you actually need

For televisions, record size, complete model code, connections and any installation cost. For laptops, match processor, memory, storage, display and operating system. Use the Currys TV guide and Currys laptop guide for category-specific checks.

For appliances, measure the space and access route, then check the cost and availability of installation or removal services. For a bundle, confirm what is included and whether you need it. Neither model age nor a large discount establishes value by itself.

This page has no evidence that waiting for Boxing Day always beats Black Friday, that the largest screen provides the best value or that a particular listing will sell out on the first day. Decide from the exact offer and your requirements.
